GRACE & WRATH
What happens when two of the most powerful forces in the human experience collide? Grace--steady and enduring--is rooted, but not rigid. Wrath--fierce and intense--holds the power to destroy as well as the potential to clear ground for new growth. Grace, the imposing mountain. Wrath, the Category 5.
You're invited to explore this compelling theme through characters, conflicts, and moments where these two forces encounter each other—from intimate character studies to epic confrontations. Will immovable Grace crack when faced with unstoppable Wrath? Will relentless Wrath exhaust itself against unshakeable Grace? Or will something entirely unexpected emerge from their collision?

Annual Playwriting Contest
We hope you enjoy the performances and want to submit work for a future festival. Each year Spectral Sisters highlights Louisiana playwrights and gives them the opportunity to see their original works staged live in our annual Ten-Minute Play Festival. Look for one of our playwriting workshops to get a jumpstart on your own creative process. The 2027 festival and playwriting contest theme will be announced soon. The festival is produced on the Hearn Stage of the Kress Theater in downtown Alexandria. Each year, entries are due by 11:59pm March 15th.
